The Vineyard

Suo Tempore

from Latin “in time”, “at the right moment” expression that describes the whole process, from vines to wines.

The Romilões vineyard

The Romilões vineyard is located at an altitude of 575 meters, on the slopes of Faia, on the left side of the Távora River.

3 acres of vines about 15 years old, grown in shallow, granitic, slightly acidic and permeable soil. The work is traditional, done by hand, using agricultural mechanisms in the essential treatments and soil mobilization.

There is no application of pesticides, herbicides or other aggressive chemical substances, thus respecting the environment and its organisms.

The grape varieties are those common in wine regions of Douro, Távora-Varosa and also Dão: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca.

All of them present in the repertoire of great compositions – in excellent wines.
